Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse EventsStep Into History
Come see us this summer!
The Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse is open to the public for tours most weekends from June through Labor Day. The Trust also makes the lighthouse available for special group tours, as well as for bus and cruise ship tours. Contact the Trust for information about arranging tours.
Visiting the Lighthouse
Admission to the lighthouse is $5.00 per person. Due to the steep ladders in the lighthouse, children must meet a height requirement of 51″ to be admitted. Bare feet will not be permitted and visitors are discouraged from wearing flip-flop style shoes. Cast iron decks may be slippery at times.
Tickets may be purchased from our ticket booth at the foot of the breakwater. Visitors will also find an assortment of snacks, refreshments, and lighthouse-related gifts such as T-shirts, hats, books, and souvenirs available for purchase. All proceeds from ticket and merchandise sales go toward the maintenance and management of the lighthouse. The lighthouse is open from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
At the Trust’s discretion, an opening may be cancelled for inclement weather, fog which activates the fog horn, or high winds or surf on the breakwater. The Trust will endeavor to announce changes to the Open House schedule on its Facebook and Google+ pages and on our telephone system, which can be reached at (866) 570-5703.
